A perfect pie packed with beef tenderised with ale and incorporating a flavoursome rich gravy. All wrapped up in a homemade double short crust.

Allergens: wheat flour, margarine (contains buttermilk), eggs, ale (contains gluten), flavourings (may contain barley, soya)

Servings: a generous 6 portions

Keeping qualities: use within 7 days. MUST be refridgerated

Please be aware this item will require at least 2 days notice to prepare.

Order by 5pm Tuesday for collection the same week. Your order will be prepared for Friday, but you can collect it anyday over the weekend.

Reheating Instructions for Pies

All Hilary’s pies are suitable for home freezing

Your pies from Hilary’s kitchen have already been cooked to pie perfection. Simply follow these instructions so you can enjoy them at their best at home.

If you have chosen to freeze your pie, please defrost overnight in your ‘fridge prior to reheating. Only reheat from chilled.

  1. Pre-heat oven to 180 C
  2. Remove from foil
  3. Place on a microwaveable and ovenproof plate
  4. Heat on high in microwave for 3-4 minutes
  5. Reheat for 35 - 45 minutes

  6. Check temperature and enjoy!

    If the pie is browning quickly, place back in parchment bag (left open) for half the time.
